    • ½ cup peroxide
    • ¾ cup baking soda

  1. In an old dish soap bottle, combine 1 cup vinegar with 1 cup Dawn.
  2. Squirt the mixture onto the toilet.
  3. Allow it to sit for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Scrub and flush.

Natural Toilet Bowl Cleaner Tablets

Toilet bowl tablets are just convenient. You throw them in, and they do all the work. Rather than getting them at the store, try these natural toilet bowl cleaner tablets out.

  1. In a bowl, combine 1 cup baking soda and ½ cup of citric acid.
  2. Add 60 drops of essential oil to the mixture. Add enough oil to make it packable and watch for oversaturation in any area.
  3. Spoon the mixture into the tablet molds, no bigger than a small ice cube (small non-stick cookie molds or ice cube trays can work for this).
  4. Pack the mixture in, using slightly wet fingers pack it in.
  5. Allow to dry overnight.
  6. Pop-out and store in a jar.
  7. Throw one in the toilet bowl.
  8. Let it dissolve.
  9. Scrub and flush.

DIY Toilet Cleaner Bombs

Toilet bombs work just like tablets, but they are more circular. In addition to baking soda and citric acid, you'll grab the Dawn dish soap.

  1. Mix ¼ cup citric acid and ½ cup of baking soda in a bowl.
  2. While mixing, slowly and evenly add 2 teaspoons of Dawn. You can add more or less Dawn, but you are trying to make a packable mixture. Test it with your hands to see if it packs.
  3. Pack the mixture into circular bath bomb molds. These should be about the size of a large rubber bouncy ball but no bigger than an ice cube.
  4. Allow them to dry for 24 hours.
  5. Store in a jar.
  6. Pop in the toilet bowl as needed.
  7. Once dissolved, scrub and flush.
